The mission behind Kyoot Bikes (pronounced like “cute”) is to create a unique bicycle that is efficient and fun, but not overengineered. We want to help people fall in love with riding bikes. The bicycle is a tool, but also a companion. A friend to take you on adventures, to teach you endurance, and to encourage self-reflection.
A bike can take you on your first date. A bike can give you a ride to work. A bike can lead you to undiscovered happiness. At Kyoot Bikes, our goal is to encourage you to try something new.
Our mini-velo bikes are designed in Austin, Texas and proudly manufactured in Taiwan.
The Man Behind the Machine
After more than a decade in the bicycle industry, Phil Bailey left his job with a desire to spend more time with his family. From the time he was a teenager, bikes have been his passion and his career. An inventor at heart, Phil combined his love of cycling and his deep knowledge of making things “go” to make Kyoot Bikes a reality. Kyoot Bikes’ debut model, the “Itty Bitty”, was designed by Phil from start to finish.
He lives with his two children and amazing wife in Austin, Texas.
